King of the Monsterpocalypse: Final Round!

It has been an intense fifteen days, but we’ve finally made it to the championship round. Our combatants have survived character assassinations, homemade memes, voter fraud, the Ulgang, Teamos-9, my “totally unbiased reporting,” and every other member of their agendas all to get to this: the ultimate showdown of flesh vs machine, Terra Khan vs Cyber Khan.

That’s right: Terra Khan and Cyber Khan will have new versions featured in the Megaton Mashup 2: Khan King of the Monsterpocalypse box. Now, while we wait for our art department to create what is guaranteed to be the greatest box cover of all time, we still need to determine who the King of the Monsterpocalypse is!

Tomorrow, once all the dust has settled, we’ll announce the King of the Monsterpocalypse and the person with the winning prediction bracket!

But before we get to our voting, let’s check in with our staff:

Well, Terra Khan bit off Kondo’s thumbs and robbed him of his evolutionary strength. I suppose lizard vs cyber-lizard is good enough, since my boy needs to go get those thumbs looked at. Let’s just hope that Terra Khan remembers to take off Cyber-Khan’s head!

I can’t believe it’s actually happening! It looks like Team Deimos and the Ulgang wore each other out in the prior round. Deimos had no energy to go on. The Champion of the Destroyers, Cyber Kahn, smashed his way into the finals only to find himself face to face with his protean self. The king of the Protectors will not stop until he has destroyed every opponent, and now only one remains. Who will win in this Khan vs Khan showdown? Get your vote in! Fortunately, the fun won’t stop there. Now that we know who will be featured in Megaton Mashup 2, we can play out this title fight again and again!

As was destined in ancient prophecy, the great battle has come. Epic Ingenuity vs Primordial Power. No matter what happens, I can look forward to this box set; however, I will be voting for the strength of man in this one—I know, blasphemous of me, but I can’t help the idealistic futurist within me…even if that man-made monstrosity is built by the hands of those who take advantage of the Monsterpocalypse for profit. All that said, I can’t say I actually believe Cyber Khan will win!
