This month marks the release of the first HORDES High Command expansion, Savage Guardians. As with the WARMACHINE High Command expansion The Big Guns released last month, this expansion product brings each of the four factions an additional warlock card (often with new color combinations), along with five copies each of four army cards in a variety of detachment colors.
Savage Guardians offers lots of great cards for expanding on the existing themes of the four HORDES High Command factions, but it also provides some new possibilities for taking reinforcement decks in alternate directions.
Rather than some vague hints or a small handful of random card previews, I’m happy to bring you the complete list of new cards from Savage Guardians, including full stats and abilities and even detachment colors. I know many of you have probably clicked on the link already rather than reading through the remainder of this blog, so I won’t keep you long. 😉
In addition to keeping an eye on product announcements and the “Privateer Insider” blog, I want to encourage High Command players to pick up No Quarter magazine #52. This issue includes an article on team formats for High Command as well as previews for future expansions beyond Savage Guardians!
