With our tournament coverage, we try to bring the slickest, most engaging show possible with a live broadcast, expert commentators—David “DC” Carl and Will Shick—multiple camera angles to catch all the action, and score overlay and information graphics. It’s like a cable sports show for WARMACHINE and HORDES. Maybe one day we’ll be on The Ocho!

Usually our beloved video producer Tony Konichek and I run the show, but this weekend Michael Plummer will be on the controls with me. I enjoy the heck out of sitting behind that switchboard. Watching that grid of video feeds to cut to the perfect shot or calling on the camera operators to catch a key moment while broadcasting live is a rush, and it’s always satisfying to fade to black at the end when the show has gone well.

At stake for the WARMACHINE Weekend Invitational is that event’s infamous trophy.
