As Steamroller 2013 nears completion, it’s time for the staff to gather once more and partake in another tournament using the beta rules. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, this Saturday I’m proud to present to you Staff Steamroller II: Arcantrik Boogaloo.

Eighteen staffers will gather this Saturday to throw down, and we’ve got some new combatants entering the arena to prove their mettle. Let’s run down the list shall we?

Jack Coleman (Trollbloods) returns with his signature defensive style looking for some revenge against Will Shick, the man who took him out of the running last time.

Will Shick (Trollbloods) is looking to rub a little salt in Jack’s wounds by playing Coleman’s own faction against him. Keep an eye out in case these two get matched up.

Oren Ashkenazi (Skorne) is bringing his Skorne and looking to bring the pain to anyone foolish enough to stand in his way.

Newcomer Jesse Sterland (Cygnar) is out to prove himself in a field of new opponents with a hail of bullets and lightning.

Josh Manderville (Khador) has also decided to take the plunge and show everyone why he’s not only an amazing artist but a dangerous foe as well.

Another newcomer, both to the company and to this tournament, Michael Plummer (Retribution) is ready to lay the smackdown with his favorite faction.

Stuart Spengler (Khador) is back and bringing some major hurt with both Butchers—and a Conquest in each list!

Lyle Lowery (Khador) returns with a vengeance and some seriously heavy armor. Two Conquests at 35 points with the Butcher of Khardov, no less? That’s beefy.

Dianne Ferrer (Minions) is rocking her Thornfall Alliance armies again. Her ultra aggressive play style is sure to catch her opponents off guard each and every time.

Chris “Chops” Lester (Mercenaries) has tweaked and tuned his lists from last time, ready to carve his way into the top spot in this challenge.

Cody Ellis (Legion of Everblight) is switching up his normal gun-line tactics and bringing some nasty melee forces to charge right into his opponent’s grill.

Johan Cea (Skorne) is leaving his beloved Cygnar on the shelf this time around and looking to the might of the Skorne Empire to lead him to victory.

Gabe Waluconis (Cryx) is a devious commander of the undead with an arsenal of tricks his enemies won’t see coming.

Bryan McClaflin (Protectorate of Menoth) is staying with his tried-and-true Menite forces but mixing up his caster selection a bit as he tests out new tactics and strategies in this event.

Erik Reiersen (Legion of Everblight) finished second place last tournament, and he’s determined to walk away with a first place coin this time.

Chris Matthews (Mercenaries) is a wild card in this event. Like Johan, no one really knows how to predict his play style and that could be his ace in the hole.

Jacob Stanley (Circle Orboros) is bringing a giant pile of Wold-y destruction with both Baldurs, and the skills to pilot his lists to victory.

And finally, I’ll be participating in the festivities as well with my Circle Orboros force. I anticipate hearing the common cries of “HUNGERFORD!” as I take on the competition.

Our judge and TO for this event will be the winner of last tournament, David “DC” Carl. He and several other staffers in attendance will be bringing you live coverage of this event all Saturday, including interviews. Check back Friday for more coverage details.
