AdeptiCon 2023 Grandmaster Painting Competition

Another glorious AdeptiCon brought so many wonderful experiences and, of course, painted miniatures! We had several entries that really stood out this year that earned medals and recognition for artistry.

In the bronze category, we have the Monsterpocalypse category winner painted by David Clearman. Next, check out Erik Bailey’s Sorscha bust and Mike Cousins’ colorful Orgoth Tyrant. And it’s always a treat to see a WARMACHINE battlegroup, this one painted by Ben Carver.

For the silver category, we have the Warcaster category winner painted by Ben Carver. Tyson Koch’s Alexia vignette is a fun piece to enjoy, and Thomas Grable brought a lot of character in a little package. Next up are two excellent busts: Nemo by Jason Gibeault and a gray Sorscha by John Carter.

The golds went to two painters: the first gold and the Judges’ Choice were for Zaateroth, painted by Kelsey Hattam. And the final gold and Grandmaster went to David Diamondstone for his solid and well-rendered Totem Huntress. Very impressive work, David!

And we could not end without a shout-out to Joseph Orthober for his clever Star Princess.

Thank you, everyone, for entering and coming by the booth to check them out. Look forward to seeing you next year!
