In recent years, a number of reforms were introduced during the reconsolidation of Khadoran forces into the Winter Korps. Among the most significant of these reforms was the inclusion of squad support weapons in Winter Korps Infantry units. These support weapons have proven to be a force multiplier, significantly increasing the effectiveness of the new Khadoran light infantry. These include grenades, anti-personnel light machine guns, and armor-penetrating anti-warjack rockets.

Generally too light to damage most warjacks, the machine guns are typically used to suppress enemy troop movements on the battlefield. Used in tandem, these guns can provide a powerful deterrent, greatly hampering the maneuverability of the opposition’s light infantry.

Grenade porters carry high-explosive grenades that can be distributed throughout their squads, expanding the combined rifle fire typical of light infantry with a fearsome and unpredictable punch. A single grenade porter often has enough explosives to supply their entire squad for the duration of a battle.

The flexible Winter Korps Infantry even has an answer for when they come face to face with enemy warjacks and heavy armor: the rocketeers pack powerful short-ranged rocket launchers that propel charges capable of penetrating even the heaviest armor. Fielded in pairs, they can cripple warjack systems and inflict incomparable damage during battle.
