Well, folks, it’s another Insider from yours truly, which means only one of two things: either info about Kickstarters or Matt Wilson has finally allowed me to publish my book of Man-O-War themed poetry, Visions in Steam.
Unfortunately for you, you’ll just have to wait to read my other future classic like The Cremation of Sam McDragadovich because I’m here to tell you all about the cool stuff in our Warcaster Collision Course Backerkit!
Right off the bat, there are a few things you should know about the Backerkit: one, it’s open until January 15th, And two, even if you didn’t back the Kickstarter, you can still access all of the pledges and get all the same rewards as if you backed the campaign, including stretch goals, Armory Credits, and Provision Credits.
It’s almost like a second chance for folks who missed out on the Kickstarter campaign! Pretty nifty, right?
While everything that was in the campaign is also available in the Backerkit, it’s been organized a bit differently. Because we added more options as the campaign progressed, we ended up with several pledges that were essentially the same thing, simply divided along Faction lines. So, I combined those, and now we have these “add-on pledges” in the Backerkit:
Command Group – A command group of your choice, plus the new Collision Course expansion!
Vehicle & Co. – A vehicle and solo from the Faction of your choice, plus the new Collision Course expansion!
Heavy Duty – A vehicle, solo, squad, Wild Card Hero, and new warjack from the Faction of your choice, plus the new Collision Course expansion!
Empyrean Skirmish Force – A battle-ready skirmish-sized force for our new Faction! Includes the new Collision Course expansion as well!
Dueling Vehicles – Two Vehicle & Co. pledges, with one copy of the new Collision Course expansion!
Double Duty – Two Heavy Duty pledges, with one copy of the new Collision Course expansion!
Full Battle Force – A battle-ready full battle force for any of the four factions!
The Ultimate Empyrean Collection – Not only includes a full battle force for the Empyreans, it contains at least one of everything, allowing you to customize your force into whatever you want it to be!
Beyond Time and Space – For those of you who just want absolutely everything, this is it. It’s the Ultimate Empyrean Collection + one of all the new vehicles, solos, squads, and warjacks from this Kickstarter!
One of the most popular pledges during this campaign was the Heavy Duty level: for $160, you get a bunch of great new models, and you’re only four units (or five if one of your models is an attachment) away from a skirmish force!
