Lock & Load GameFest 2014 is in the rearview mirror now. We really love the new venue, and we’re already looking forward to what we can do there next year!
Lock & Load was packed with exciting events, but one of my favorites was the Iron Gauntlet championship game between Jason Watt and Jay Larsen. It turned out to be one of the most thrilling nail-biters I’ve ever seen, and the tension was palpable amidst the huge crowd watching in the main hall and the viewing lounge, as well as among the tons of people watching via our live stream. The moment when the winner finally thrust the Iron Gauntlet trophy in the air in victory gave me goose bumps!

We’ll post the Iron Gauntlet matches we streamed to YouTube soon, but if you haven’t seen the match yet—or you can’t wait to see it again—you can check it out right now on our Twitch channel. Trust me, it’s definitely worth seeing!

That was one of my favorite moments of Lock & Load. I want to extend a big “thank you” to all the attendees, and especially to all the volunteers, who helped make Lock & Load GameFest 2014 the best one yet. Thanks, everyone, for making Lock & Load 2014 the incredible experience it was. Next year we’ll do it bigger still!
