There is intense excitement in the air at Privateer Press right now. This week hundreds of players from around the world will make the trek to Seattle and converge at the Red Lion for the premiere Privateer Press gaming event, Lock & Load GameFest 2013. Everyone in the office is hard at work to make sure this year’s event is the biggest and best Lock & Load yet.
This Lock & Load features the first-ever Iron Gauntlet Qualifier, our new top-tier tournament format. You’re not going to want to miss the finals for this premiere event, so we’re bringing it to you! The tabletop action of the Iron Gauntlet Qualifier will be streamed live on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. PST with commentary from our very own Director of Business Development Will Shick and Development Manager David “DC” Carl.
Whether you’re at Lock & Load or following from home, I suggest you check out Lock & Load’s live streaming stage events on Friday night. War Stories: The Origin of WARMACHINE, starting Friday at 8 p.m. PST, promises to be an extremely insightful look at the past ten years of WARMACHINE. You’ll want to stick around for the Privateer Press Staff Panel at 9 p.m. PST to get a sneak peak at what’s up and coming, but that’s not where the excitement ends. This year’s Iron Painter Showdown and Trivia Challenge (9:30 p.m. PST) is bigger and better than ever, and our audience members will have plenty of chances to win fabulous prizes. These events will all be live-streamed right here on our website and on Twitch TV, so whether you are here or at home you can enjoy the show.
Lock & Load GameFest 2013 is going to be a complete extravaganza of fun. We’ll see you at Lock & Load, and if you’re not coming this year, be sure to tune in Friday and Sunday for video coverage. Oh, and start planning your trip for next year!
