I’m excited to show everyone the first preview of the recently announced LEVEL 7 [ESCAPE]: Lockdown, releasing this summer. This product introduces some new gameplay elements to the LEVEL 7: [ESCAPE] core game but also explores the growing LEVEL 7 setting. One aspect of the expansion is a direct preview of the second stand-alone LEVEL 7 game, which you’ll be hearing more about soon.

The story behind the Lockdown expansion takes up right where the core game left off. It is told from the perspective of escapees who didn’t make it to the final exit before the doors were permanently sealed. These desperate souls must go back into the terrifying depths of the facility, search for another way out, and face new dangers along the way. Lockdown includes five new scenarios to tell this story, and like the core game, each provides a new way to play the game.

In addition to the scenarios, we’re adding new things to almost every component introduced in the core game. There are new enemies to face, new tiles to explore, and additional cards for all the decks. These new components can be used when playing any LEVEL 7 [ESCAPE] scenario not just those in the expansion.

Here are two of the fourteen new tiles. These tiles demonstrate one of the new concepts in the game: tiles that trigger two events.

Lockdown also introduces a new function for Adrenaline cards. These new cards let you react to being damaged by enemy attacks.

These are just a few of the new things in Lockdown that will expand your LEVEL 7 [ESCAPE] experience this summer. Stay tuned; I’ll have more new stuff to show off next time.
