Earlier this month at TempleCon, we revealed four new product announcement videos for 2013 and produced a successful live webcast of our 2013 keynote presentation. I was very excited to go to TempleCon this year and support Will, Ed, and Lyle with the audio-visual portion of the presentation. For me, it was an exciting climax to some big projects we put a lot of effort into creating. It was exhilarating to witness firsthand the reactions from the live audience, knowing that many others were watching live online.

What was the hardest part about making the videos for our keynote? Keeping all the cool stuff we planned to reveal a secret until the presentation! I’ve been dying to tell people about LEVEL 7 [OMEGA PROTOCOL], WARMACHINE: High Command and HORDES: High Command, and especially our new WARMACHINE faction, the Convergence of Cyriss. Until now, I’ve only been able to talk about these awesome things with other staffers . . . and my two-year-old daughter, who pinky-swore she wouldn’t give away any spoilers before the big day.

All work and no play is not the Privateer Press way, so once the presentation ended, we grabbed our armies and started playing WARMACHINE and HORDES. After such an adrenaline-filled presentation, it was great to relax by playing great games with fun people, meeting new folks, and catching up with old friends.
