We are very excited about War Room and are eager to bring it to you as soon as possible. As the app has moved through its development cycle, though, we’ve run into more than a few time-consuming surprises, and we’ve found several places where we could make War Room even better. As anxious as we are to bring War Room to you, we just don’t want to pass on any opportunity to make improvements to the app. We believe that it’s more important to make War Room as good as it can be before it releases than it is to rush it out and patch it later. As a result, we are now anticipating a July 9 release date for War Room.
We have been making the most of the extra development time to polish the app. The biggest change is a complete overhaul of the user interface. As you can see in the images below, the initial design looks cool, but after testing we saw an opportunity to streamline the interface into a cleaner, faster, more intuitive design.

One of the advantages of this sleek new interface is that it makes it very easy to see Field Allowance validation at a glance. As shown here, fielding two Widowmaker Marksman solos in a single-warcaster list results in the FA column being flagged in red.

War Room’s developer, TinkerHouse, has posted a blog with more details on how they are utilizing the extra development time. We’ll update you on War Room’s development as it progresses.
Thank you for your patience as we ready War Room for launch. And as always, thank you for supporting Privateer Press and the games we all love.
