The Battle Standard in Manchester, CT has quickly proven to be a great shop with a ton of enthusiasm for Privateer Press games. With ample space for playing games and an energetic staff, the Battle Standard creates a fun, friendly environment for gamers to enjoy WARMACHINE and HORDES.

Since their doors opened in March 2010, the Battle Standard has carried Privateer Press products. The store regularly participates in organized play events, and the staff of The Battle Standard have gone above and beyond to create a unique gaming experience for their players.

When The Battle Standard began to host the current Shattered Grounds: Windless Waste league, the staff of The Battle Standard decided to provide players with an easy way to track their battles: an oversized magnetic version of the territory map. Now, as the various factions fight for control of the map, they can easily update the current standings with this set of homemade faction magnets. Nicely done!

A unique league map is not all the Battle Standard offers its customers. There are plenty of creative terrain boards to choose from in the gaming area, each offering a visually appealing battleground to wage war upon.

We asked Tommy, one of the owners of The Battle Standard, what his community is looking forward to in the upcoming release of WARMACHINE: Wrath and HORDES: Domination. He said, “Battle Engines have people very excited. We’ve posted as many pictures as we can find and people want more.”
